Sharon Bain is a licensed clinical social worker who is a generalist in her clinical practice. After earning her graduate degree from the University of Chicago, she worked for several years with adults in an outpatient psychotherapy setting. She later broadened her clinical interests to include chldren and families when she worked in the department of psychiatry at Chicago's Children's Memorial Hospital. She is now a Child Guidance Specialist at Early Childhool Development Center of Saint Mary's and Notre Dame, where she consults with teachers and parents to help with children's challenging behavior.
Workshops and Presentations
Sharon Bain is an experienced presenter and lecturer, frequently presenting in conjunction wth Sophia Group, Eartly Childhood Development Center, and University of Notre Dame Human Resources Department. Drawing on her professional skills and personal experience as a mother of three, she several times has presented and co-presented Sophia Group's most popular parenting workshop and is Sophia Group's resident expert on childhod sleep and eating habits.
   
Parent Coaching and Counseling
Licensed to conduct assessments and therapy, Sharon sees most of her clients through the Early Childhood Development Center on a short term, brief consultation basis. She has limited availability for private consultation.
