Michelle Thomas is a licensed social worker specializing in family and individual intervention. She has integrated her study of clinical social work (MSW, Andrews University) with Adlerian Therapy and Restorative Justice to create an original approach to effectively address issues facing families.
Michelle's passion for Restorative Justice grew while earning a bachelor's degree in Justice, Peace and Conflict Studies from Eastern Mennonite University where she studied under some of most influential names in Restorative Justice. Restorative Justice concepts include the ideas of a greater social concern and the power of relationships, which complement the egalitarian and socially responsible Adlerian Theory.
Prior to entering private practice, Michelle provided family therapy at Center for Community Justice where her work centered on families whose children had become involved in delinquent activity.
Michelle provides Individual Therapy, Family Therapy, Parent Coaching, Mediation and Consultation services in the Michiana area. Her passion lies in helping families function on a healthier level by fostering cooperation and mutual respect.
